Emerson Outdoor Services provides free, no-obligation estimates for all services. Estimates are based on a site assessment and are subject to change if conditions differ materially from what was observed at the time of the visit.

Services performed are limited to the scope agreed upon before work begins. Any additional work identified on-site will be communicated and approved by the customer before proceeding. We will not perform work outside the agreed scope without prior authorization.

We will make every effort to arrive within the scheduled window. We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, supply delays, or unforeseen circumstances. We ask that customers provide reasonable advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.

All materials used by Emerson Outdoor Services — including artificial turf, pavers, lighting components, rock, and mulch — are sourced for quality and durability. We reserve the right to substitute equivalent materials when specific products are unavailable, and will communicate any substitutions before installation.

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the start of work. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. All prices are in U.S. dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes.

For larger installations or multi-day projects, a deposit may be required before work begins. Deposit amounts and terms will be clearly outlined in a written agreement signed by both parties.

In the event of a returned check or failed payment, the customer is responsible for the original amount plus any applicable fees. We reserve the right to pursue unpaid balances through lawful collection means.

Emerson Outdoor Services stands behind the quality of our installations. We provide a workmanship warranty on labor for services performed. Specific warranty periods vary by service type and will be communicated upon project completion.

Materials and products installed may carry manufacturer warranties, which vary by product. We will assist customers in pursuing valid manufacturer claims where possible, but are not responsible for defects originating from the manufacturer.

Warranties do not cover damage resulting from: misuse or abuse, modifications made after installation by parties other than Emerson Outdoor Services, acts of nature (flooding, storm damage, etc.), or pre-existing site conditions not disclosed at the time of estimate.

The customer agrees to provide safe, unobstructed access to the work area. This includes clearing personal items, securing pets, and ensuring pathways to the installation site are accessible. We are not responsible for delays caused by restricted or unsafe access conditions.

Customers are responsible for disclosing any known underground utilities, irrigation lines, drainage issues, or prior work that may affect the installation. Emerson Outdoor Services is not liable for damage to undisclosed underground infrastructure not identified by the appropriate utility authority.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any required HOA approvals or local permits prior to installation unless otherwise arranged. Emerson Outdoor Services can advise on typical requirements but is not responsible for HOA or permit compliance on the customer's behalf.

Emerson Outdoor Services takes all reasonable care during installations. However, we are not liable for: pre-existing property conditions not disclosed at estimate; damage from underground utilities not properly marked; damage from acts of nature; or work performed by third parties before or after our service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific job in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

The website is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use our website, including but not limited to errors, interruptions, or data loss.

All content on this website — including project photography, written content, branding, and design elements — is the property of Emerson Outdoor Services or its licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Emerson Outdoor Services reserves the right to photograph completed projects and use those photos for marketing purposes, including on our website, social media, and promotional materials. If you prefer your project not be photographed, please notify us in writing prior to the start of work.

If you submit a review or testimonial about our services — on Google, Instagram, or directly — you grant Emerson Outdoor Services a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to share and display that content for business purposes.

You may not post or transmit content that is false, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes on the rights of others. We reserve the right to report unlawful content to the appropriate authorities.
